Who we are
AUC Faith Community
AUC is a diverse community gathered from across the city. We worship, grow, pray, support and work together, that individually and as a community, we can discover and make real the love and hope of God in the world.
More about AUC Faith Community
Ethos of Inclusion
AUC aspires to be an inclusive, growing and active Christian community.
We celebrate the Christian Story, welcome and affirm people of all faiths and none and work to promote justice and wellbeing locally and globally.
We welcome into full community life all people regardless of gender, age, sexual orientation, race and ability.
Theology
AUC is part of the world wide Reformed Church. More than 70 million Christians are members of the Reformed family of churches. They uphold the historic Trinitarian creeds of the Church universal and find the supreme authority for their lives in the Word of God in the Bible, discerned under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. They order their community life through councils of the church, where ministers and lay people together seek the mind of Christ.
Worship Services
AUC Worship - Sundays 11am
Communion 1st & 3rd Sundays of each month.
Our worship services offer space to find peace, to hear the Christian Story told for today and open our lives to hope. Our services can include elements of silence, prayers, singing, bread & wine, preaching, Bible readings, music, interviews & discussion. After each service there is time for coffee & chat.
Our worship includes all ages and offers a program of activities for children called Junior Church. Everyone is welcome.
Junior Church

AUC Junior Church offers children and young people a safe and friendly experience of the Christian community where they can feel respected, valued and affirmed as children of God. AUC Junior Church runs a programme of activities for Children from 0-12years to explore the stories of the Christian Faith.
