Church Life Model
AUC Organisational Structure
The AUC community has identified 10 areas of Church Life, which are shaped and directed by working groups consisting of about 3 people who rotate office every 3 years.
The working groups have a facilitator who is part of the Elders & Office bearers. Elders & office Bearers consists of the trustees (Church President, Treasurer & Secretary), active elders and Office Bearers / Group facilitators. This group makes recommendations to Church Meeting.
Church Meeting is open to all. Technically members only have the right to vote, however we try to work with a model of consensus amongst whoever is present. Church Meeting is the decision making body within the AUC community.
